A man was rescued after he became trapped under a train along SEPTA's Market-Franford Line Thursday
Fire fighters responded to reports that a 36-year-old man was caught under the train near the Somerset stop in the city's Kensington neighborhood just before 5 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries, according to a SEPTA spokesman. No word yet on his condition.
Shuttle buses operated in both directions between the Erie and Berks stations while medics attended to the man.
Trains resumed service around 5:20 p.m. Passengers should expect residual delays.
