One person is dead after getting hit by an Amtrak train in Delaware County Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened near the Sharon Hill Train Station, located at 414 Sharon Ave., shortly after 7 p.m., officials said.
No word yet on the circumstances surrounding the deadly accident.
The striking train was traveling to Washington D.C. from Boston, according to an Amtrak representative.
No one aboard the train was hurt.
There will be some delays as authorities complete their investigation.
