Man Struck, Killed by SEPTA Train in Tioga

The victim was found underneath a train on the Broad Street Line at the Allegheny station.

A man was struck and killed by a SEPTA train Friday morning in the Olney section of the city, according to SEPTA officials.

The victim was found underneath a train on the Broad Street Line at the Allegheny station.

Shuttle buses replaced trains for some time between the Girard and Erie stations due to police activity.

Regular train service has since resumed.

The victim was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital.
