Pennsylvania Man Charged With Driving Drunk Twice in 4 Hours

A Pennsylvania man has been charged with driving drunk twice in a span of about four hours.

Police first arrested 46-year-old John Snyder, of Newberry Township about 8 p.m. Saturday, saying his blood-alcohol content was two-and-a-half times the legal limit.

Police expected Snyder would be jailed overnight when nobody came to pick him up, but his sister eventually arrived to take him home.

However police say she apparently dropped off Snyder at his car after he convinced her that he was OK to drive, and police spotted him again early Sunday, just after midnight.

Police say Snyder was not only still under the influence, but they found a small amount of marijuana in his car during the second arrest.

Online court records don't list an attorney for Snyder, who doesn't have a listed phone.
