Local emergency management officials in Pemberton Township announced that water will be distributed to residents until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Browns Mills Acme on Broadway.
Officials also say that public water in the town is safe, despite rumors circulating that it was unsafe.
Much of the town is still without power due to Hurricane Irene.
