A woman says she was photographed by a Peeping Tom inside a bathroom at a Center City hospital.
The incident happened just before 8 p.m. Monday at Hahnemann University Hospital at Broad and Vine Streets, police said.
"An unknown male entered the bathroom and went underneath the stall utilizing some type of device, believed to be a camera and took photographs of her," Philadelphia Police Lt. Frank Vanore said Tuesday.
The woman, 28, was able to get a good description of the man, police said.
Patients, guests and hospital staff were interviewed and investigators were reviewing surveillance video.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion. He had short dreadlocks and was wearing a dark color suit jacket and pants with suede sneakers, police said.
"You definitely want to be aware of your surroundings," said Vanore. "Even when you're in a public restroom, you do have to be careful."
