Pedestrian in Critical After Struck by Car

Two people are hurt after a vehicle struck a pedestrian in Camden County Saturday morning.

Fifty-two-year-old Lisa Diulio was driving eastbound on White Horse Pike near Pump Branch Road in the Waterford section of Winslow Township around 8:40 a.m. when she hit a pedestrian who was also traveling eastbound on White Horse Pike, according to officials.

Police say the crash caused 24-year-old Jose Burgos Jr. to be thrown from the roadway.

He was transported by helicopter to Cooper University Hospital in critical condition.

Diulio suffered minor injuries. She was transported to Virtua Berlin hospital.
