The rain Friday night didn't stop a group of community activists from taking to the streets of Camden to promote peace.

Members from Camden Churches Organized for People joined together with residents and faith leaders to draw attention to a recent wave of violence in the city.

Nine people were shot this week in Camden, four of the victims died.

Experts from across the country will hold workshops on how to prevent violence on Saturday at St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral School on Federal Street from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
