Guy in Gray Fleece Uses Tire Iron to Hold Up Chester County Pharmacy

A customer wearing a gray fleece top used a tire iron to rob a Chester County pharmacy over the weekend.

The man, who also wore gray cargo shorts and a black baseball cap made a purchase at the counter of the CVS along Lancaster Avenue (U.S. Route 30) in Paoli, Pennsylvania around 1:20 a.m. Sunday, said Tredyffrin Township Police.

Once the worker opened the register, the customer turned into a thief, produced a tire iron and demanded money, said police.

The man took the cash then fled the scene in a car, possibly eastbound on Lancaster Avenue, said police.

“We are asking the public’s assistance in identifying this individual,” Tredyffrin Township Police Superintendent Anthony Giaimo.
