Pa. Mom Gets Prison in Daughter's Pregnancy Plot

A Uniontown woman was sentenced on Thursday for allegedly trying to get her teenage daughter drunk so that a man could impregnate her.

Shana Brown, 34, pleaded guilty on Oct. 4 to conspiring to put alcohol in her then 13-year-old daughter's drink twice in 2009. She planned for her alleged co-conspirator, Dwayne Calloway, to get the girl pregnant.

Uniontown police say that Brown can no longer have children and wanted to have a baby with Calloway.

Brown testified against Calloway as part of her plea agreement. Calloway was acquitted of all charges last year however, after denying that he was part of the conspiracy.

Brown's daughter was never impregnated.
