Pa. Online Gaming Addict Neglects Her Kids: Police

A Uniontown mother’s obsession with online gaming officially took a turn for the worse.

Authorities say that her gaming fixation has caused her to neglect her six children. Social workers removed the children, including three toddlers, from her home on Monday.

Police say that there is an abundance of animal waste in the home. One officer claimed that he was “overwhelmed by the odor of feces” that covered the house as well as the moldy food that he saw in the refrigerator.

Uniontown Police Officer Michael Garrow Sr. says that the cupboards have no food in them and that the mattresses were on the floor and completely exposed.

The children’s stepfather claims that his wife is so obsessed with online gaming that she doesn’t take care of the children.

The children are currently not in the custody of their parents. Investigators say that they will be filing child endangerment charges.
