PSE&G to Provide Credits for Natural Gas Bills

It will cost customers of New Jersey's largest utility less to heat their homes this winter.

Public Service Electric and Gas is providing credits for the next three months to its residential natural gas customers that will cut the average bill by 31 percent.

PSE&G says the typical customer would receive about $118 in credits.

The credits are the result of a steady reduction in the cost of natural gas.

PSE&G says those costs account for about half a customer's monthly bill.
