A pedestrian died on Sunday morning after getting struck by a car in the Tacony Section of Philadelphia.
Police said the victim was a 54-year-old woman. Officers said the accident happened at Gillespie and Levick Street. The driver, a 63-year-old woman, remained on the scene for police to arrive.
The victim was transported to Frankford Torresdale Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
