A woman riding home from a party at Hamilton Township was shot to death on the road.
Quadier Lampkin, 19, was riding home in a car on White Horse Pike in Galloway Township early on Saturday morning. Habibah Abdullah was the driver. The two, along with several riders in the car, had left a party at the Cologne Firehouse.
Near the Ram's Head Inn, another vehicle came alonside Adullah's. The occupants of the other car fired, and Lampkin was struck once. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Abdullah was also injured in the incident.
Investigators are still trying to determine the motive for the attack.
