Witnesses said they watched a bloodied man get thrown out of a white SUV in Fairmount Park early Saturday morning.
Police said that the victim had sustained multiple bullet wounds, including two shots to the head and several shots in the torso. The man was transported in critical condition to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Witnesses placed the car on the 3600 block of Greenland Drive in Fairmount Park.
The man carried no identification, and police are still trying to learn his identity.
