If you go fishing in the Schuylkill, you never know what you are going to catch.
A car was found sunk in the water near the Columbia Bridge grandstand on Saturday. It took 5 tow trucks the greater part of the afternoon to haul out a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Ice encrusted the vehicle, leading witnesses to speculate that it had been in the water for several day, Philly.com said.
Marine divers searched the river looking for the vehicle's driver, but found no bodies. That investigation continues.
Another vehicle was found in nearby waters on Wednesday. Investigators were unable to locate the driver of that car, either.
