Sushi Concept Coming to Two Logan Square

A sushi concept from the team behind a Midtown Village sushi eatery in Center City is coming to the west part of town.

The team behind restaurant 1225Raw Sushi & Sake Lounge near 12th and Sansom streets in Center City has inked a deal to open another concept at Two Logan Square, adding yet another option for the office and lunch crowd in that part of Philadelphia.

Not much is known about the restaurant — Raw owner Tony Rim could not be reached for comment — but Metro Commercial Real Estate, which represents landlord Brandywine Realty Trust (NYSE: BDN), said the 1,000-square-foot sushi concept is under construction.

Scott Benson, Michael Gorman and Lars Kerstein of Metro Commercial represented Brandywine in the deal.

It will be located in the space between Au Bon Pain and Matt & Marie's. Its entrance will be on 18th Street immediately to the left of Matt & Marie's; there is no door there yet.
