Stockton University has spent nearly $8 million on the former Showboat Casino property since it purchased it last year, nearly $1 million of which was spent on legal services, records show.
The university has spent nearly $700,000 on legal bills for the purchase and sale of the property, and the lawsuits and authorized investigation involved with the Showboat deal, the Press of Atlantic City reports.
