The Delaware River Waterfront Corp. is scheduled to open its latest permanent pier park.
The $1.7 million park called Pier 68 will officially open Oct. 1. It will have a range of active and passive uses for visitors – including fishing, recreational and picnic areas, while serving as the southern entry point for the Delaware River Trail.
The pier will also provide a close-up of the tidal nature of the Delaware River.
