ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - Tolls are going up on the Atlantic City Expressway just after midnight Tuesday.
Ramps that are 25 cents will increase to 40 cents. All 50 cent ramps will cost 75 cents.
Tolls for autos at the Egg Harbor plaza will increase from $2 to $3. The Pleasantville toll plaza will go up from 50 cents to 75 cents.
E-ZPass users who travel east through Pleasantville and Egg Harbor are eligible for a 25 percent tourism discount on Friday and Saturday between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The South Jersey Transportation Authority says the higher tolls will generate an estimated $205 million to fund regional transportation projects.
