Olney Man Threatens President, Jews: Cops

He was allegedly shouting out threats from a loudspeaker

The Secret Service will not file charges against a man who allegedly made threats against the president in Olney.

Soon after 6 p.m. on Monday, police responded to an apartment building on the 5500 block of N. 5th Street after reports of a man making threats against President Obama and people of Jewish descent over a loudspeaker.

When authorities entered the second floor apartment, they found several containers filled with an unknown liquid and several reportedly suspicious suitcases.

The suspect was taken into custody and the bomb squad was immediately called.

Within two hours the scene was cleared. The liquid was determined to be water and the suitcases were filled with clothing.

The man was charged with disorderly conduct and released.
