Officials: Possible Philly Rape Suspect Tries to Escape

Philadelphia Police are looking into the possibility that a Philadelphia man, who was arrested in connection with sexual assaults at Lock Haven University, may be responsible for attacks in Center City and University City, according to Special Victims police.

Now that same man is in even more trouble in Clinton County, Pa. where he is being held in jail.

Domenique Wilson, 23, reportedly tried to escape from Clinton County jail last week, according to Clinton County jail officials.

Wilson was caught trying to escape Friday from a facility near McElhattan, Pa., jail officials told TV station WNEP.

Wilson reportedly tried to kick out a small cell window. He had tied a sheet to his bed so that he could scale the outside wall.

More details are expected soon pending DNA tests that could possibly link Wilson to the Philadelphia attacks.
