Officers Slide Off Road En Route to Pick Up Prisoner

Two officers with the City of Philadelphia's warrant unit were involved in the crash

    Two Philadelphia warrant officers were on their way to pick up a prisoner when their car went off the road and into the woods.

    The accident happened at Lexington and Ryan Avenues in Northeast Philadelphia.

    The car is a city-owned vehicle. The officers were not hurt, but are being checked out at the hospital.

    Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
