A police officer is in the hospital after a car accident in the Rhawnhurst section of the city.
It happened at 8:05 p.m. on the 1700 block of Cottman Avenue. Investigators say the officer was pinned between two cars by a drunk driver. The officer was taken to the hospital for back and leg pain.
The alleged drunk driver was arrested.
