An off-duty Philadelphia police officer is in stable condition after being shot in the leg early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the officer was shot in the thigh during an argument on the 6800 block of Musgrave Street in East Mt. Airy around 12:20 a.m.
He was taken to Einstein Medical where he remains in stable condition.
Police are looking for the gunman who they say fled the scene in a silver or gray Nissan Maxima with damage to its rear right side.
