Nurses Rally Against Delco Hospital

700 nurses rallied outside of the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland on Saturday to let their voices be heard.

They are preparing to strike in anticipation of their 3-year contract expiring on Wednesday.

A union spokesperson says that there are too many patients at the hospital and not enough nurses to provide proper care.

A hospital spokesperson claims that all the proposals they’ve received have dealt with money and benefits and that the Crozer nurses are currently the highest paid nurses in Pennsylvania.

One more negotiation session is set for Tuesday. The two sides have been meeting since April.
