Not So Fast on Will-Jada Split Rumors

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith say “We are still together”

The Smiths say the rumors circulating about a split are not true.

MSNBC’s The Scoop reported on Tuesday that Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith denied widespread reports that were separating.

The couple has been married for 13 years.

"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact," the couple said in a joint statement reported Tuesday afternoon on msnbc.com.

In Touch Weekly broke the "exclusive" story, stating that the long-loved couple had called it quits. Will and Jada Smith have two children Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10. The couple has also co-parented Will’s eldest son Trey, 18.

Jaden (@officialjaden) and Trey (@TheOfficialTrey) took to Twitter to post denials of the split (#ItsAllLies.).

When TMZ asked about the report early Tuesday, Jada Pinkett Smith's representative Karynne Tencer said, "What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this...Lord. I'm going back to bed."

Will Smith is a successful television and movie actor, as well as a popular music artist. He was born and raised in West Philadelphia (as his star-making theme song from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air clearly states).
