SUVs End up on Top of Each Other During Northeast Philly Crash

One person was injured in a freak accident in Northeast Philadelphia Friday morning.

The crash happened about 7:15 a.m. in the driveway of a home at Verree Road and Bloomfield Avenue.

Investigators say the driver of a gold SUV rounded a corner and lost control of the car. The SUV then flew over a yard and hit a parked car in a driveway with such force that it flipped it over on its roof.

The gold SUV ended up on top of the flipped SUV.

It is believed that the driver suffered some type of medical condition while driving, which caused the accident. The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.

There were no other injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
