A North Philadelphia man was shot and killed only steps away from his home Wednesday night.
The 50-year-old man was on the 2500 block of North 19th Street when he was approached by three gunmen, police said. The suspects opened fire at close range and the man was struck four to five times.
The unidentified man was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have not released a detailed description of the three suspects but say they were all either in their teens or early 20’s. They continue to investigate.
