No Sign of Abducted Mother After Police Dog Search

Police and family grew more concerned Monday night, after police dogs searched but could not find Diane Corado.

"No one's heard from her since the time of the abduction, so we're very concerned," said Falls Township officer Lt. Henry Ward.

Corado's ex-boyfriend busted her door in early Sunday morning, angry that she'd broken off the relationship, police said. He allegedly beat her with a pipe, threatened her with a knife and then abducted Corado and a female friend from her Levittown apartment.

"We're still hoping that she's still alive," said Ward.

The K-9 units' futile search went on for hours at a park near the Village of Pennbrook Apartments where Corado, 57, lived. Her former boyfriend, Kenneth Lamon Patterson is in custody, but not talking.

"He's not giving us any information, he's not cooperating, so right now we're asking the public for their assistance," said Ward.

After forcing Corado and her friend to leave with him in Corado's car Sunday, Patterson let the friend go, police said. The friend called 911 right away and told police Patterson had threatened to kill Corado and then himself.

Corado's empty car was found in Camden late Sunday after a tip call and Patterson was arrested soon after at a hotel on Route 73.

"There are signs someone was injured, in the vehicle," said

Police are asking folks to pay make a note of Corado's license plate number: DMC-XOXO. They hope someone knows or saw something. They think the car may have been driven through Lower Bucks County, Trenton, Camden and Mount Holly.
