If you haven't decided where you want to welcome 2013, below is a list of some of the New Year's Eve celebrations taking place across our region.

PHILADELPHIA:

XFINITY LIVE!
With seven parties under one roof, five hours of open bar, six DJs and two live bands, this will be one of the most talked about New Year's Eve bashes in Philly.

SUGARHOUSE CASINO:
SugarHouse Casino’s Countdown ‘til Midnight
On New Year’s Eve at SugarHouse, party at the casino’s Refinery restaurant and bar from 10 p.m.— midnight with live music from the FunkyHorns Band.
Tickets for the dance party are $65 in advance or $75 at the door and include two hours of open bar, passed appetizers, a champagne toast at midnight and New Year’s Eve hats, horns and other goodies. Plus, get an exclusive viewing spot of the Penn’s Landing fireworks from SugarHouse’s Waterfront deck. SugarHouse will also extend its free SugarExpress service through 6 a.m.
Guests must be 21 to attend and can purchase tickets at www.sugarhouserocks.com.  Outside on SugarHouse’s riverfront walking path, concessions will be available from 5 p.m.—midnight to catch both the 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks displays. 


PHILADELPHIA:
The Blue Cross River Rink has two different ice-skating sessions.
One is from 5-7 p.m. and the other from 11 p.m. -1 a.m., timed with the 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks display. The party is alcohol-free and there is a place to warm up inside with live entertainment. The cost is $30 to ice skate and $20 just to watch from inside the rink.
The Battleship New Jersey offers multiple options for watching the fireworks from the ship with the fireworks going off overhead. Enjoy food, music and a bar from this unique former battleship.
Franklin Square will host a daytime party (11 a.m.-4 p.m.) with hat decorating, free entertainment, and a countdown to the fireworks at 6 p.m. Kids love it.
The Spirit of Philadelphia cruise offers another way to see the fireworks from the Delaware River, a long with a meal, dancing and a bar. Have a midnight champagne toast on the late-night cruise.

CAMDEN/PHILADELPHIA:
Fireworks on the Camden Waterfront
2 Shows: 6 PM & MIDNIGHT
The Fireworks will be synchronized with music. Speakers are set up at Adventure Aquarium, Wiggins Park, and in the Binswanger Parking Lot.

DELAWARE COUNTY:
New Year's Eve Bash @ Front Street Fountain

Continuous live entertainment including headline entertainment at Ovation Hall with Kanye West performing 3 Pre-New Year’s shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday and International Star Tiesto performing New Year’s Eve;
Exotic parties at HQ and Ivan Kane’s Royal Jelly Burlesque Nightclub;  high energy dance shows with cutting edge choreography on the casino floor and continuous Revelry throughout the resort culminating in a countdown that will ring in the New Year at all 12 restaurants.

First Night Burlington County 2013: Year of the Snake

OCEAN CITY, NJ:
20th Annual First Night celebration at the Jersey Shore.
First Night offers outstanding entertainment for all ages, from 4 p.m. till midnight capped by a fireworks display, weather permitting. And for just $15 per person.
Also included are rides at Wonderland Pier from 5 to 9 p.m. plus miniature golf at Gillian’s Adventure Golf from 2 p.m. till 9 p.m.
There are 60 shows to choose from: Magic Shows, Musicals, Comedy, Japanese Drummers, a Mummer’s String Band, Broadway music, the list goes on and on.

The Ocean City Restaurant Assn. will again offer its popular TASTE of the JERSEY SHORE at the High School Cafeteria.

Plans are set for the Grand Finale event of the City of Allentown’s 250th Anniversary Year.
Ball drop at midnight, followed by fireworks.
