New Nursing Education Center in NJ

Gov. Chris Christie is among those expected to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for Thomas Edison State College's new Nursing Education Center.

The $26.2 million center will be built at the site of the former Glen Cairn Arms apartment complex at West State and Calhoun streets in Trenton.
The 34,360-square-foot building will house the college's W. Cary Edwards school of nursing. It will include a new, state-of-the-art nursing simulation laboratory, lecture halls, conference rooms and a testing center.
Several high-ranking college officials, including school president George Pruitt, are due to attend Thursday morning's ceremony.
