Authorities have made an arrest in the slaying of a 90-year-old man found dead in his northern New Jersey apartment earlier this month.
Essex County prosecutors say 32-year-old Jocelyn Dahta, of Orange, is charged with murder in the death of Henry Boyd.
A motive for the attack has not been determined. But prosecutors say Dahta and Boyd knew each other.
Dahta's bail was set at $750,000, and it wasn't known Wednesday if she has retained an attorney.
The East Orange man was found Feb. 9. An autopsy determined that he died from compression of the throat and a fracture of the larynx.
