A New Jersey school bus driver has been cited for careless driving in a crash that injured eight members of a middle school baseball team this week.

The Times of Trenton
reports Princeton police issued the summons to 43-year-old Christine Walker of Hamilton Township.

Walker was driving about 20 students and two adult coaches when the bus drifted off the road for some reason and struck a tree Tuesday afternoon. None of the players were seriously injured, though some suffered sprains and bloody noses.

Walker was also taken to the hospital for observation following the crash. But her injuries were not considered serious.
