New Jersey Brothers Face Prison Terms for 2012 Murders

Two New Jersey brothers are heading to prison after admitting to their roles in the shooting deaths of two men during a 2012 burglary.

Camden County prosecutors say 22-year-old Misael Lopez, of Camden, was sentenced on Thursday to a pair of 30-year prison terms that will be served at the same time.

He had pleaded guilty in May to two felony murder counts in the slayings of 32-year-old Louis Narvaez and 28-year-old Jose Payas Garcia.

Both men were found dead in the kitchen of their Camden home in March 2012. They had been shot.

Lopez's 36-year-old brother, Alexander, pleaded guilty in April to conspiracy to commit burglary. He was sentenced on Thursday to eight years in prison.
