Investigators Try to Unravel What Led to 1 Death & 2 Critically Injured in 3 Medical Incidents at Same Delaware Home

Delaware investigators tried to unravel what happened after two people were taken from a home unconscious just hours after a woman suffered a deadly heart attack in the same New Castle County home.

New Castle County Paramedics responded to the 400 block of Morehouse Drive in the Dunlieth community Tuesday afternoon to find a 79-year-old woman in cardiac arrest. The woman died at Wilmington Hospital a short time later, said county police.

Around 4 a.m. the next morning, medics returned to the home to find a 79-year-old man unconscious, said police. They rushed him to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

Later Wednesday, medics returned to the home for a third time to take a 58-year-old unconscious man from the property, said police. That man was also taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

Department of Public Health, the Delaware Department of Homeland Security Division of Forensic Science, and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources joined county police in investigating the incidents.
