Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a New Castle gas station late Friday morning.
Police say that a man entered the BP station in the 700 block of W. Basin Road in New Castle at around 10 a.m. Friday. The suspect confronted the station's clerk, implied that he was armed, and demanded an undisclosed sum of money.
After the clerk handed over the money, the suspect left the store and fled in a light green or silver GMC Envoy.
The suspect is only described as a white male. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit at (302) 834-2630 ext. 6.
