Neo-Nazi Group Rallies in Trenton

Around 50 members of the largest Neo-Nazi group in America rallied today in Trenton.

The National Socialist Movement spoke at the New Jersey statehouse. Members reportedly spoke out against illegal immigrants, crime and America’s leaders during a 90-minute presentation.

Several groups were also at the courthouse to protest the NSM though they were kept at a distance by police. The NSM reportedly responded to protesters by performing Nazi salutes and shouting “Sieg Heil.”

A heavy presence of federal, state and local law enforcement were at the rally in order to keep the peace.

The NSM also held a meeting last night in Pemberton Borough. During the meeting, there was reportedly an altercation between members of the Anti-Racist Action Network and the NSM. Two people were arrested and several others were sent to the hospital, according to police.

No arrests or violent incidents were reported during Saturday’s rally however.
