Coatsville-native and figure skating Olympian Johnny Weir tied the knot on New Year's Eve, according his twitter page.
The three-time U.S. champion married Atlanta lawyer Victor Voronov in New York.
"Wedding in summer! But all the official stuff is done now! No more livin' in sin!" Weir said in a Twitter post Saturday.
He thanked fans for their well wishes in another Twitter post late Monday and told his Twitter followers that he and his husband touched down in Punta Cana for their honeymoon that day.
The two-time Olympian came out last January in his autobiography, “Welcome to My World.” He had previously avoided questions about his sexuality, saying he wanted people to see him “for who I am, not what I am.”
Weir has not competed since the Vancouver Olympics, where he finished sixth. He has not ruled out a comeback for the 2014 Sochi Games.
