Names of Elderly Brothers Found Dead in Home Released

Authorities in central Pennsylvania have released the names of two elderly brothers found dead in their Lancaster County home last week.

Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni told LNP newspapers on Monday that the two were 74-year-old James Hougendobler and 73-year-old William Hougendobler.

Autopsies are scheduled Wednesday, and the coroner declined to speculate what caused their deaths.

Police in Manheim Township said there were no obvious signs of foul play in the Lancaster Township home, which didn't have running water or a working furnace.Police said a gas oven was on in the home and the men were apparently using it to heat part of the residence.
