Naked Man on Shrooms Attacks Cop: Police

An Upper Nazareth Township man is accused of attacking a cop and EMS worker after tripping in more ways than one.

Police say that last Sunday, 31-year-old Garrison Goodman threw himself down the stairs of a Palmer Township home after taking mushrooms, according to the Morning Call.

An EMS worker arrived around 1:25 a.m. to help Goodman who reportedly suffered a cut to the head and a broken collarbone.

Police say that Goodman was naked in the front yard and began to attack the worker once he arrived, punching him several times in the head.

When a police officer arrived at the scene, Goodman allegedly began to punch him as well before the officer finally tasered and arrested him.

Both the officer and the EMS worker had head and neck pain but were not seriously injured, according to the Morning Call.

The Morning Call also reports that Goodman was treated for his injuries at a nearby hospital, arraigned and sent to the Northampton County Prison under $50,000 bail.
