A Clarksboro, New Jersey teacher is under arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting five students from 1999 until 2001.
Derek Hildreth, 48, is a teacher at Myron L. Powell Elementary School in Lawrence Township, New Jersey.
Hildreth was arrested on five separate counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault, five additional counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and one count of Attempted Aggravated Assault, according to a release sent out by the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victims were students at the school at the time of the alleged assaults.
Hildreth’s bail is set at $500K.
