FBI releases new information in alleged murder of 2-year-old New Jersey girl

The FBI has upped a nationwide manhunt by issuing a formal โ€œWanted Alertโ€ Tuesday for the New Jersey father who allegedly murdered his 2-year-old daughter.

FBI officials say that Arthur Eugene Morgan III, whose last known address is Eatonown, N.J., took his daughter Tierra Morgan-Glover for a court-approved visit on Nov. 21 and then threw her from an overpass into a creek inside Shark River Park in Wall, N.J.

Tierra was found still strapped in a car seat, partially submerged in the water Nov. 22. Her cause of death is listed as homicidal violence and Morgan is wanted for her murder, as well as unlawful flight charges.

The FBI says that Morgan has ties to California and Texas.

Morgan is described as a black male standing 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall who weighs 163 to 165 pounds. He has tattoos on his left hand and both arms, according to the FBI.

Recently featured on Americaโ€™s Most Wanted, Morgan is known to have used the names Arthur E. Morgan, Arthur Glovermorgan , Arthur Glover, Eugene Rossi, Arthur Morgan III, Arthur Morgan, and Arthur Eugene Morgan.

Morgan was last seen on the platform of the Asbury Park train station between 7 and 8 p.m. on Nov. 21.

Tierra (pictured below) was buried on Monday in New Jersey.
