Nutty "Idol" Contestant Killed Down the Shore

Former "Idol" contenstant Alexis Cohen was killed in a hit-and-run Saturday on the Jersey Shore.
The "American Idol" contestant briefly made famous by her bizarre rant, that included flipping off the camera and telling "Idol" judge Simon Cowell to "kiss her ass" after being rejected, was killed by a hit-and-run driver Saturday.
Former “American Idol” contestant Alexis Cohen, 24, was killed Saturday when a car hit her and fled the scene in Seaside Heights, N.J., according to the Associated Press.
Police arrested Daniel Bark, 23, from Toms River, N.J., on charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
Cohen died after the impact of the car caused abdomen, chest and head injuries.
Cohen was from Allentown, Pa., and is best known for her angry rant in response to being rejected for the top “Idol” spots in the show’s seventh season.
