NJ Couple Arrested With Drugs, Weapons

Police found cocaine, marijuana, xanax, oxycontin and ecstasy

Police have arrested a New Jersey couple and seized a large cache of drugs and weapons from their home.

Edwin Class Jr., 30, and Michelle Galioto, 28, have been charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute after police removed cocaine, marijuana, xanax, oxycontin, and ecstasy from their home on Clubhouse Drive early Friday morning.

Investigators estimated that the street value of the drugs was $22,000. Over $1,000 in suspected drug proceeds was also confiscated.

In addition to the drugs, detectives seized 5 "assault-type" rifles and 6 handguns from the home. According to investigators, two of the guns were reported stolen from Georgia and Kentucky. In addition to the weapons, police removed over 800 rounds of ammunition and 34 high-capacity magazines from the house.

In addition to the drug charges, Class and Galioto are also facing multiple counts related to illegal weapons possession, as well as endangering the welfare of a child. Investigators say the couple had two children, whose status is unclear at this time.

The couple is currently being held at the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of bail, which has been set at $762,000 for Class and $730,000 for Galioto.
