Police searched unsuccessfully for the bodies of a prostitute and her pimp who investigators say may have been killed by an eastern Pennsylvania man already jailed and awaiting trial in three other crimes.

On Friday John Gonce, 30, allegedly contacted police through prison officials and confessed to shooting and killing a pimp and her prostitute at an apartment in Secane, Pennsylvania.

Gonce allegedly claimed that he dismembered the bodies and then buried them in Springfield’s Indian Rock Park.

Acting on that information, police took Gonce to the park and dug in hopes of finding the bodies on Friday and Saturday but didn't find anything.

Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood says police haven't charged Gonce, but will keep investigating.

Chitwood says Gonce is still jailed awaiting trial on charges he killed two Philadelphia brothers in 2012, raped a 13-year-old Maryland girl, and was involved in a home invasion in Upper Darby.
