Turnpike Reopens After Multi-Car Crash

The Pennsylvania Turnpike has been reopened after a multi-vehicle accident shut it down Wednesday morning.

The five-car pile up blocked the left lane of the turnpike heading west for about two hours.

The accident, which occured just after 9 a.m. Wednesday, had the turnpike shut down between the Bensalem Interchange (exit 351) and Willow Grove (exit 343).

Bucks County Fire Radio says that at least four people have been transported to the hospital. No word on their injuries.
