A mulch fire is burning in Wilmington, Delaware sending heavy smoke out over I-495, according to fire officials.
The fire started around 2:30 p.m.
The mulch is burning over three acres in the 600 block of Christiana Avenue between I-495 and the Delaware River.
Conditions have been dry and windy recently, creating a higher fire risk in the area.
On Friday, two suspicious forest fires burned about 400 acres in the Winslow Wildlife Management area of Winslow Township, New Jersey.
