Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Camden County.

Investigators say the 48-year-old victim was riding a motorcycle northbound on Laurel Road from Lindenwold, NJ towards Stratford. As he was riding, a 34-year-old man was driving a four-door sedan on Lake Boulevard when he stopped at Laurel Road and prepared to turn left.

As the sedan pulled out onto Laurel Road, investigators say the motorcyclist struck the driver’s side of the vehicle, flew over the car and landed on the roadway.

The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan was not injured.

Laurel Road was shut down in both directions for two hours as officials investigated.
