Mother, Son Target Family in Drive-By Shooting: Cops

A suburban Philadelphia woman and her son are behind bars charged in a drive-by shooting that targeted an SUV carrying a baby.

Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood says 41-year-old Michelle Terry was behind the wheel during Monday's shooting. Chitwood says Terry's son, 20-year-old Dayvon Terry, pulled the trigger.

Police say Dayvon Terry fired at least three shots, including one that shattered the window of a vehicle carrying a 10-week-old boy. Chitwood told the Delaware County Daily Times the Terry family and the targeted family are locked in an ongoing feud.

Mother and son were arraigned Tuesday on charges including three counts of attempted homicide. It was not clear if they had attorneys.
